EUROSAI

EUROSAI (European Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions) is one of the Regional Groups of the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI). This Organisation groups together the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of 192 Full Members and 5 Associated Members, and it is listed as a support Organisation of the United Nations. The objectives of the Organisation, defined in article 1 of its Statutes, are to promote professional cooperation among SAI members, to encourage the exchange of information and documentation, to advance the study of public sector audit and to work towards the harmonisation of terminology in the field of public audit. EUROSAI is one of the regional groups of the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI).

INTOSAI

The International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) operates as an umbrella organisation for the external government audit community. At present INTOSAI has 192 Full Members and 5 Associated Members. INTOSAI consists of the regional groups EUROSAI, OLACEFS (Latin America), AFROSAI (Africa), ARABOSAI (Arab States), ASOSAI (Asia), SPASAI (South Pacific) and CAROSAI (The Caribbean).

INTOSAI Working Group on IT Audit

The INTOSAI Standing Committee on IT Audit, founded in 1989, aims to support Supreme Audit Institutions in developing their knowledge and skills in the use and audit of IT by providing information and facilities to enable experiences to be exchanged, and bilateral and regional cooperation to be encouraged.


ARABOSAI

ARABOSAI is the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions, which is chaired by the Supreme Audit Institute of Kuwait. The Supreme Audit Institute of Tunesia is providing the General Secretariat. ARABOSAI is one of the regional groups of the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI).

IT Audit Active Manual - Practical use of “WGITA-IDI Handbook on IT Audit for SAI”

In December 2014, members of the EUROSAI IT Working Group participated in the training organised to present the INTOSAI WGITA and IDI Handbook on IT Audit and basing on this tool to provide practical guidance to auditors assisting them in planning and implementing IT audits carried out in accordance with the international standards.
