On 14 April 2026, e-Seminar "From Data to Findings – Shortcuts for Audit Efficiency” brought together 250 participants from over 50 Supreme Audit Institutions worldwide.

A range of data use cases and analytical methodologies were presented, and participants shared practical experiences on increasing audit efficiency and extending the scope of insights provided by auditors.

 

In the panel session “Automation of auditing – how not to reinvent the bicycle?” panellists Mr Karl Annus (Ministry of Regional Affairs and Agriculture), Dr Jonas Klos (SAI Germany) and Ms Terje Trasberg (Estonian National Statistics Agency) discussed how automation can be used in auditing. The panel discussion was moderated by Mr Alvar Nõuakas (National Audit Office of Estonia).
