Update on materials of ITWG virtual coffee break with a colleague

ITWG Secretariat continues to organise the event “Virtual coffee break with a colleague“ that is accessible for EUROSAI IT Working Group members only. It is a possibility to meet with colleagues in an informal environment and reflect what’s going on with our everyday work.

  • On the 16th of May 2024, Dr Martin Willenbockel from the Bundesrechnungshof spoke about smart grid as building block of the energy transition. Presentation slides are available here.
  • On the 26th of March 2024, Mr Štefan Kabátek and Ms Julia Petrášová from the Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic presented audit of access to online public administration services and their maturity in terms of digitized administrative procedures. Presentation slides are available here.
  • On the 16th of February 2024, Ms Alenka Blas (Auditor) and Ms Ruti Rous (Auditor) from the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia gave an overview of European Data Strategy and its different acts. Presentation slides are available here.
  • On the 17th of January 2024, Mr Toomas Viira (IT Audit Manager) from the National Audit Office of Estonia, introduced an audit "Security of server rooms and office premises". Presentation slides are available here.
  • On the 17th of May 2023, Ms Mairead Leyden (Audit Manager) from the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of Ireland talked about IT Audit, Digital Audit and Data Analytics. Presentation slides are available here.
  • On the 12th of December 2022, Mr Simon Camilleri (Manager of IT Audits and Operations) from the National Audit Office of Malta gave an overview of the audit “The COVID-19 pandemic - Business continuity within the public administration”, and another IT audit regarding the online 2021 Census carried out in Malta.   • On the 26th of October 2022, Mr Erik Jonker (Researcher) and Mr Aard-Jan Seppenwoolde (Senior Researcher) from the Netherlands Court of Audit talked about algorithms and corona check app experience. Presentation slides are available here.
  • On the 28th of June 2022, Mr João Cardoso (Service Director of Information Systems/Technologies Department) from the Portuguese Court of Auditors shared insights of his recent work.
  • On the 13th of May 2022, Mr Mārtiņš Vilmanis (Information System Auditor) from the State Audit Office of Latvia shared experience of the work in the area of IT audit. Presentation slides are available here.
  • On the 25th of March 2022, Mr Bernhard Hamberger (Head of Competence Center IT Audit) from Swiss Federal Audit Office shared the experience about “Auditing digital transformation - the Swiss perspective“. Presentation slides are available here.
  • On the 21st of February 2022, Mr Štefan Kabátek (Director, Performance Audit Department) from Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic gave an overview about “Sharing audit plans and suggestions for eGovernment audit topics - Why do we have different/same priorities and in which areas?“ Presentation slides are available here.
  • On the 21st of January 2022, Dr Mark Burford, audit manager (Digital Financial Audit and Audit Technology Support) from National Audit Office, reflected how the UK NAO is seeking to expand its ambition to better leverage IT audit and provided examples of the progress they are making.
