ITWG training programme “Auditing AI in the Public Sector" open for learning
The Chair of EUROSAI IT Working Group (ITWG), SAI Estonia, as a project lead and its partners, the SAIs of Egypt, Estonia, India, Israel, Morocco, Oman, Slovenia, Sudan, Switzerland, The Netherlands and USA have developed a training programme “Auditing AI in the Public Sector".
The training programme covers fundamental concepts, regulatory and ethical considerations, practical auditing techniques, and future trends in AI. It is designed for auditors, professionals, and stakeholders interested in learning how public sector external auditors could audit the development and use of AI, including generative AI in government. The programme is open to everyone, free of charge.
The training consists of four modules:
All modules are delivered online via the EUROSAI ITWG Moodle platform, allowing participants to learn at their own pace with no time restrictions. Upon successful completion of all modules, participants will receive a certificate.
The Moodle platform is managed by the EUROSAI ITWG Secretariat at the National Audit Office of Estonia.
