Summary of ITWG 15th meeting

The meeting took place 6-7 September in a hybrid format in Bucharest, Romania. On the 6th September, a seminar “IT standards and guidelines – what is the future of IT auditing” was held, where over 150 participants from approximately 50 different countries participated, among them approximately 50 in-person attendees present in Bucharest.

Topics included IT standards and guidelines, also IT frameworks, additionally several SAIs shared their experience on different IT audits. Also panel discussion “Integration of IT audit elements to all audit domains – the future of IT auditing?“ took place.

September 7th was reserved for the IT Working Group Business Meeting where participants had the chance to get involved in different workshops and to receive updates on EUROSAI ITWG activities as well.
