Summary of ITWG 16th meeting

The meeting took place 10-11 October in a hybrid format in Warsaw, Poland. On 10 October, a seminar “Digital Sovereignty in a Cloudy Environment” took place and was accessible to all members of the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI). Close to 120 participants from almost 50 countries were participating, among them approximately 50 in-person attendees in Warsaw, Poland.

Topics discussed included the experience on digital sovereignty, auditing public cloud, cloud service provision, data control, and cloud computing. Also, during panel discussion “Standing for Digital Sovereignty – a Thin Border Between Protection and Over-Regulation” thoughts were shared on possible developments related to cloud services.

11 October was planned for the IT Working Group Business Meeting and was reserved for ITWG members and invited guests only. It was possible for participants to learn about current status of projects in the EUROSAI ITWG. Also, our cooperation partners from INTOSAI and ARABOSAI gave an overview of their projects. Two group discussions took place as well, one on SAI-s with common workstreams in audits and the second one about the future plans of Research & Training Hub.
