SERBIA: IT performance audits

In 2020, the State Audit Institution of the Republic of Serbia conducted two IT performance audits - "Information Security in Health Information Systems" and "Management of Information Systems in Public Enterprises for Unified Billing".

The goal of the audit -"Management of Information Systems in Public Enterprises for Unified Billing" was to assess whether general IT controls and application controls prevent, detect and eliminate inefficiencies in the management of information systems of public enterprises for integrated billing of communal services in the three largest cities in Serbia - Belgrade, Novi Sad and Nis.

The performance audit - "Information Security in Health Information Systems" was conducted in order to assess the extent to which the implemented measures in health information systems in Serbia have fulfilled the necessary goals when it comes to information security.
